Beginning in 2003 the SOGS and other members and supporters of DFC have gone on an annual road trip to help out one of the other church communities in Colorado. Starting with the premise that a multi-day trip on a motorcycle is a good thing and that helping others while on a motorcycle trip would be even better, the SOGS have gone to four different churches and a district camp to do minor and major building and maintenance projects. Exterior projects have included landscaping, concrete, stucco, painting, replacing windows and re-roofing. We have built carports, handicap access ramps, stairs, fences and retaining walls. Interior projects have covered everything from paint and flooring to HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
Destinations have included Holly ('03 & '07), Paonia (2004), Lamar (2005), Divide (2006) and Florence (2008), Colorado.

Ride & Provide 2009 is in the planning stages. No information is available at this time but expect another great trip during the Summer of 2009.
Ride and Provide is an extremely rewarding experience. It's a great volunteer opportunity and fun way to provide community service. There's always plenty of work to be done, plenty of food to eat, and great times of fellowship. Please Plan on joining Ride and Provide 2009, you'll be glad you did.
